My name is Cris, and I was born in Barcelona, although I’ve been living in Sitges for many years. I studied in a bilingual school and have lived abroad, which gave me an open mind and a passion for languages and discovering new cultures.

After earning my degree in Humanities and Journalism, I began teaching Spanish as a foreign language to immigrant children in the Raval district of Barcelona.

My enthusiasm for teaching and my desire to keep learning completely changed the direction of my life — I left journalism to dedicate myself entirely to teaching Spanish.

After a year full of changes, I decided to train formally as a teacher and realized that education was my true passion. I started working with a home tutoring agency, and for three years I happily taught Spanish in Sitges to both adults and children.

Over time, I began working in public and private schools, mostly during after-school hours. I also collaborated with different language agencies and academies in Barcelona and Sitges, teaching Spanish for foreigners at all levels.

Working in such a variety of educational settings has allowed me to continually refine my Spanish lessons in Sitges, improving my methods and materials year after year.

During the past ten years, I’ve learned how to identify each student’s needs and how to make learning Spanish for foreigners fun, engaging, and effective. Every person is unique, so my classes are always personalized and adapted to each learner’s strengths and goals.

With the desire to continue growing and evolving as a person and teacher, I’ve created this space to offer the best of myself to my students — and to help more people learn Spanish in Sitges in an authentic, enjoyable way.
